
Chief Operating Officer
Amir Jafri is the chief operating officer of the West Wireless Health Institute, where he is responsible for driving its organizational effectiveness across all departments. Jafri will oversee the collaboration between the Institute’s clinical and engineering teams to ensure quality control and regulatory adherence of research, development and validation activities.
Previously, Mr. Jafri was vice president of strategic programs at Cardinal Health, where he was responsible for identifying and bringing to market new product concepts. He joined Cardinal in 2003 and served in various positions as vice president of business operations, vice president of research and development, and vice president office of the CTO. Prior to joining Cardinal, Mr. Jafri was vice president/general manager for healthcare at Comsys Information Technologies, one of the largest privately held service firms in the U.S.
Mr. Jafri has also served as vice president of international marketing and sales for various healthcare device companies and has founded successful startup companies in the areas of healthcare clinical and business services, healthcare enterprise technologies, and software engineering. He has a B.S. with a double major in chemistry and biology, with a minor in history from Houston Baptist University.
